As a statewide innovator and connector, Connecticut Community Care (CCC) leads the Connecticut Age Well Collaborative  and partners with the State Department of Aging and Disability Services to deliver Tai Ji Quan: Moving for Better Balance® (TJQ: MBB), an evidence-based fall prevention program offered at senior centers and community locations throughout Connecticut.

About Tai Ji Quan: Moving for Better Balance®

Tai Ji Quan: Moving for Better Balance® is a therapeutic movement program proven to improve balance, mobility, confidence, and everyday functioning while reducing the risk of falls. Participants attend two one-hour classes each week over a 24-week period and learn movements designed to enhance stability, strength, and coordination.

Developed by Fuzhong Li, the program has been recognized nationally for effectiveness in helping older adults remain active, independent, and engaged in their communities.

CCC serves as a multi-site license holder for TJQ: MBB, supporting program implementation at participating locations across the state.
