What do you like most about being a CCC Care Manager?
I believe that our work is important and meaningful. We are literally changing people's lives! What I like most about being a CCC Care Manager is witnessing someone's quality of life improve with the right services. I am also part of a supportive team that makes the work environment even better.

Please describe a special moment or two that you have experienced with a client and/or their family caregiver/s.

I had a client with severe COPD. He lived alone in a small apartment on the third floor of an apartment complex. He only had access to a small window in the kitchen, and it became very hot during the summer months. He would call me frequently expressing how difficult it was for him to breathe with only one fan. After two months, I was able to obtain a donated used air conditioner. I personally delivered the unit to him. He began to cry tears of joy and in turn I began to cry with him! I will never forget that day or how grateful he was. That experience is just one of many!
